My first post is not going to be that exciting. Its about my mobile – The blackberry pearl 8120 and why I love it so!

I have been asked/told numerous times by people that because I work in IT I should have a very latest handset. Well I don’t, I have the pearl I am on my third one in three years. I just like everything about it, the size, the weight, the ease of use, the functionality.

Sure there are better phones out there that i could choose from, and in the past I have such as the Nokia n series (I’ve had the N73, N78 and very briefly the N95) as well as Sony Ericsson’s (W810i & P910i.) But each time I’ve tried another phone IE the three nokia’s most recently They’ve either got broken or I have lost them and then gone back to the pearl.

This upgrade could be different though….With my upgrade due in Dec/Jan time, and the iphone due for a January launch on Vodafone could I be a traitor to blackberry? after years of saying I’ll never get an iphone? Well that view has changed. I bought myself an Ipod Touch off ebay, jail broke it the same day it arrived and have been living in an apple wonderland ever since. So im seriously considering the iphone 3Gs as long as Vodafone can do me a good deal on it that is!
