On the 6th July 2010, Lisa, Ben and myself went to colchester zoo. I did put up the pictures before but had to take them down as they where to big. Ive now resized them all using a handy utility which I will blog about later!

Chesington 2010 – Lisa’s Birthday Part Two
A day out with Lisa, Ben and family to Chesington World of Adventures.
A Great; however long and tiring day (espicially after the brussels weekend!) with more pictures taken then in brussels! Which left my iphone with not very much battery left at all.
Brussels 2010 – Lisa’s Birthday
A great weekend with Lisa in brussels to celebrate her Birthday. I think we both hope to re-visit Brussels at some point in the future for another weekend away. We didnt really do a lot of site seeing but we seemed to walk for miles upon miles across Brussels taking in the local surrondings and enjoying a relaxing pint (or half.)
There is only a few snaps taken and there linked below and in the wrong order. Will run through a bit of detail about each one.
- The two pints was in an o’rielys pub which we found to watch the england game in however when we re-found it after getting lost it was too full and they wasnt letting anyone else in.
- The second picture is of lisa, with the normal Jugs that they serve pints in. Needless to say she struggled to lift them!
- The rest of the pictures are of the buildings in the square thirty seconds walk from our hotel.
Today
Today I’ve been quite productive.
@ Work
- I have gone through loads of crap in the old office of a sister company ready for the move into my office in a fortnights time. I managed to get 4 3ft floor to ceiling jam packed cupboards down to a pile of cd’s and a few power cables for various things; Should make the move easier.
- I also finalised a lot more details for the move. including an actual date when they’re moving in, fortunately this gives me an extra day after my week off to get everything sorted.
@ Home
- I have finally booked Lisa’s and my hotel for our weekend in Brussels this weekend (http://www.royalwindsorbrussels.com/ – For anyone who wants to take a look)
- I have sought out and found a driving instructor in hope of having passed before this new test comes along in October.
- I have got my old HP Nc6320 Laptop back up and working after 18months under the bed. All it needed was a new power supply ordered off eBay last week. I gave it a fresh install of windows xp as well to give it a whole new lease of life. Needless to say I’m not quite sure why I need another laptop at home so it may end up for sale soon!
- I have tidied up this site, installed a new theme and removed loads of crappy widgets I installed in the past. I also decided to change the address of the site, however I changed my mind and then promptly changed it back again (which was a waste of time I admit!) I’ve also added a few new links to the links column which you can’t see yet whilst I’m waiting for permission from the blog/website owners.
After all that, I’m off to bed. See you on the flipside.

Edinburgh
After all the hassle and disappointment of the start of my trip to Edinburgh. It was actually a good trip!
Thursday I arrived quite late and then had a few beers in the bar with a paper to read.
Friday however was expected to be an extremely long working day 9am – 10pm’ish. However we was all finished by 7pm and then went for a lovely curry. Once we had demolished this we all headed back to the shore where David parted company with Chris and myself. We then preceded in drinking copious amounts of alcohol in various pubs and bars until the early hours.
Overall a good trip with the only downside of losing my IPod on the way up to Edinburgh and a stinking hangover all day on Saturday!
